Episode 28 – Is it really possible to ‘have it all’?
Today on The Not-So-Serious Life, Jason and Steve answer Katerina’s question:
“Is it really possible to ‘have it all’?”
This question ended up being much tougher for us to answer (or at least articulate in a way that makes some kind of sense) than we thought it would.
If you can see past the double talk, circular reasoning and Zen platitudes, you may just glean a nugget of wisdom that can help you if you think you want to “have it all”.
We talk sacrifice, inner vs. outer “having it all” and how the key to getting to that place, may be focusing on having “nothing” instead.
Plus JG’s lack of knowledge of “classic cinema” may have finally pushed Steve over the edge…
It’s time for YOU to weigh in…
What do you think about this notion of “having it all”? Do you think it is possible? Realistic? Do you feel like you already DO have it all? Let us know in the comments below!

OMG, you guys are too dang funny! I love getting my morning started with you! As always, today’s advice was really good. However, I find myself “almost” wanting to laugh even during your serious monologue because I know something hilarious is right there barely below the surface! “Hello Dolly” “(is that Dolly Parton)?!” Health/Heath Bar! So much great stuff! Thank you! Thank you!
We love YOU Jackie! And you are not alone, it is one of the most challenging things I have ever undertaken in my life to keep a straight face anytime Chandler opens his mouth…sometimes, just because I know the extent and depth of his tremendous humor, I have to be careful not to laugh at the inappropriate time 🙂
Thanks for the love my friend!
JG
Dolly Lama.
Be happy with nothing – I’m liking that one.
Love you both and happy to spend my mornings with you.
