Episode 14 – How can I avoid acting like a victim when a situation doesn’t go my way?
Today on The Not-So-Serious Life, Jason and Steve answer Robert’s question:
“How can I avoid acting like a victim when a situation doesn’t go my way?”
In this episode, Steve shares THE MOST transformational concept I have ever learned from him which helped me (JG) to re-invent my life!
Even if you have heard it before, hear it again with new ears and then use the simple and practical tips he shares (including the radical 30 day challenge) to help you APPLY it in your life!
Plus you will learn that even if you DO react as a “victim” there is still the potential to be an owner in that situation AND what TRAINS have to do with being the owner of your experience.
Plus, I think we have FINALLY cracked the code on what is going to get us that Kellogg’s sponsorship!
We want to hear from you!
Have you had a situation like JG did at the airport recently where you reacted as a victim and realize now what responding like an owner may have looked like instead?
Leave us a comment below and tell us what you would do if you encountered that situation again, given this new idea!

Loved all the wisdom packed in this episode. Steve, your question reminds me of a favorite Napoleon Hill quote: “Every adversity, every failure and every heartache carries with it the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit.” Your version is simple and easy to remember. JG, your recent experience (and the way you processed it) showed how we can stay in “owner” mode even if we slip over to victim momentarily. Thanks for your insights. I look forward to each episode!
Thanks for sharing get what it is to be human. Love these episodes! Thought:: maybe bring on Tony the Tiger in full box size! That might ink the deal. 🙂
