Episode 61 – How can I balance work and art in my life?

Today on The Not-So-Serious Life, Jason and Steve answer Ernie’s question:

“How can I balance work and art in my life?”

Where in your work or art can you get creative about turning the “hard part” into simply being an extension of the parts you love?

How can you leverage the power of tribes and the sharing, connection-based economy we now live in, to give people access to the work you put out into the world?

And here is a link to the song “I can’t get to you from here” that Steve and his friend Fred Knipe wrote (performed by Michael Johnson) that has over 100,000 views on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzrljQ0Euto

I’ve always wanted to share with Steve that Michael Johnson is my favorite musician and has been since I first heard him in the 1970’s. The first book I picked up of Steve’s was “The 17 Lies That Hold You Back…” and when he talked of the song “I Can’t Get To You From Here” he and Fred wrote, I had to see if that was my favorite MJ song and it was. I have shared numerous times that my favorite author (who Steve has become) wrote my favorite song, performed by my favorite artist. It just seemed really cool to me. Thanks for influencing my life through multiple channels. I was drawn to comment after this episode where you talked about that song. Thanks,

    Don
