Episode 54 – How do I relax and go to sleep when I have so much unfinished business to attend to?

Today on The Not-So-Serious Life, Jason and Steve answer Sharon’s question:

“How do I relax and get to sleep when I have so much unfinished business to attend to?”

Being busy can be a gift and proof of the mastery you are experiencing in your craft.  At the same time, it can be a great opportunity to practice simplifying and challenging beliefs about what you think “unfinished business” says about you.

You know what WE think and now it’s time for YOU to weigh in…

Can you be courageous about your priorities and your focus, allow yourself purposeful rest, and relax when looking at all you have to do instead of having a heavy and stressful reaction to it?

Thanks for answering my question. Since I submitted it I’ve found it helpful to put boundaries around the things I need to do so that I am not usually working on them in the evening. Then they can’t keep me up. I appreciate what Jason said about having some time to rest and have fun and how that’s just as important as my work. That helps me to not procrastinate going to bed since I know that I can have some fun tomorrow. I also liked what Steve said about how as you get better at things, you will be more in demand. I have read Time Warrior and I loved it! An excellent book by a wonderful author.
